Picnic in the Park – A Porto Kind Event

Join us for our first annual Porto Kind Picnic.

This will be a casual event where we can spend some time with friends both old and new while enjoying the lovely Parque da Cidade and raising money for a worthwhile cause.

There is no cost for this event. However, we will be raising money for our September charity through some fun games and donations on the day.

Some of the games we will be playing:

• Picnic bingo
• Bean Bag Toss
• Ring Toss
• Scavenger Hunt
• Paper Airplane Competition

Location

Parque da Cidade do Porto. The exact location of the picnic will be determined on the day but we will aim to find a spot by the duck pond near the Avenida da Boavista Estrada Sul entrance. Please see image below for the location of this entrance.

Please bring your own food, drinks, chairs and/or blankets.

Tickets

• Tickets are €1 each
• Tickets for games can be bought on the day or before the day from Jennie Hardware, Sherri Feldman or Debbie Dekelbaum at Porto Together functions.

Charity

The charity we are supporting at this event is Animais de Rua. Animais de Rua is an organisation that helps thousands of stray animals, neutering them so they don’t reproduce, providing medical care when they are sick, and feeding them. They promote a peaceful coexistence between animals and people, respecting both animal welfare and public health.
